About the creator: Elizabeth Heller, MS, RYT-200
Elizabeth, better known to her students as Miss Elizabeth, is a mom, yoga teacher, author, and kid at heart who is powered by breath! She created her teaching style and her giant, magic yoga-mats on her living room floor! Her experience and practice with the power of breath and body awareness have been translated into playful and powerful classes that ignite the inner world of our littlest generation of yogis. Elizabeth offers kids tools for mindfulness, awareness, and self-regulation that they can utilize for a lifetime!
Elizabeth is RYT-200 certified through the New School of Yogic Arts. She has additional intensive training in therapeutic yoga, trauma informed yoga, pre-natal yoga, and kids yoga! She teaches toddlers to teens, adults, and those with disabilities in various venues in the Boston area, including yoga studios and public schools.
Elizabeth is the author/co-author of eight books for and about children, and a contributing author of two parenting books. She loves to write and just finished her first middle grade fiction novel! She has a BA in English and an MS in Broadcast Journalism. She also created a children’s sports and news program and was a money reporter for a Boston children’s radio program. She spends her spare time creating fun, new, magical adventures for her classes and for her personal journey!
